The Birch Restaurant in Terrace Park Grand Opening

A super cute wine restaurant opened in Terrace Park with an incredible menu, wine selection and setting opened in the spring of 2017!

Lots of spring rain kept delaying this fun family session in May. We finally got a warm sunny day and the showers certainly made the beautiful green grass and trees stand out in this sweet family session.

I have been lucky enough to capture this sweet family of 3 for two years in a row and cannot wait to meet their new little bundle of joy. Their sweet boy and his big blue eyes along with his sweet smile capture my heart every time. This is also one of my favorite Dads to photograph because he is actually excited to have a photo session which is rare for the Dads!

This is the first time I have had the pleasure to photograph this beautiful family. These 3 had me cracking up with their fun personalities and lively poses. They are a super busy family, so I am so glad we were able to take the time for our session. We dodged the rain by starting just a little bit early and ended up with beautiful spring light. 

My first Muse

I am so excited about the fact that there are so many women getting into photography. I see so many stories of new moms getting their first digital SLR cameras and then turning it into a career. The energy in the industry is so much fun and the work coming out of it is so creative. My story is a little bit different. I fell in love with photography around my 16th birthday when I received my first manual film camera. My little sister Lauren was born just 2 weeks after my that birthday so she was the subject of so many of my pictures in the following years. As you can imagine it was so much fun to come back and spend some time photographing the beautiful woman she has become. She really was my first inspiration, my first muse on this journey of photography.

The V Family is Expecting ~ Cincinnati Maternity Photography

This is one of my favorite families to photograph because they are not only gorgeous, but good friends too!  What can I say about these two beautiful girls, but they are super photogenic and enthusiastic in front of the camera.  We strolled around OTR on this beautiful summer night, chatted, laughed and topped it off with ice cream from Graeters which made these two girls very happy.

Oh, how sweet this family was that I photographed last summer.  It was a very hot evening and they were really positive and so much fun despite the heat.  Their little boy is not only adorable with the bluest eyes you have ever seen, but so sweet too!  As I am reviewing 2017 and blogging a few sessions, they were on my mind because they are expecting baby #2 this summer!  I can't wait to meet this sweet family's new bundle of joy.
